A new website is claiming to provide you online hotel booking facilities for the untouched remote areas of India. The site is launched by Indsoft Systems, one of India's largest online solution companies who also provides hosting solutions to Microsoft. The website is called Lomanika.com (I am not sure if that means Low Money "ka" but it sure sounds like it).
TravelGuru plans to attract more customers by launching its affiliate network, and ClearTrip launches Train search to get more and more customers, Lomanika.com is touching a different area to get more customers and provides hotel booking for remote areas. But is it really something unique?
If I search for hotel booking sites in India, I get hundreds of results and each of those sites provide hotel booking for so many cities/villages in India. According to rediff news, the site has more than 2000 hotels from India's metros as well as remotest regions across the country.
I did check TravelGuru and it has covered probably about 200 cities and I am pretty sure it would also include atleast 1500 to 2000 hotels. So how can Lomanika claim that it is the only site to provide remote area hotel booking?
May be I need to do through analysis on this one.
