India has lot of places where you can satisfy your trekking hunger. Shimla, Himachal Pradesh, Leh Ladakh are few among many. Just came across this site where you can get all the information related to trekking under one roof. The site is basically a single destination for every possible information regarding trekking in India. Currently the site is covering the beautiful Sahyadri Mountain Range in Maharashtra but they have plans to add more places in the list.
The site is called YoTreks.com. The site has trekking events, trekking organizations, users trekking photo galleries and forums where trekking fans can interact with each other.
Users can register to the site and contribute to the travelogues, photo gallery and participate in the interesting discussion forums. If you are an organizer, profile of your organization/group will be created in YoTreks.com and will be available for other users to see. The site is free and one can apply to be a trek organizer.
