Today, somehow I landed @ Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport website. I am sure the site was not available till March this year. I looked at the "WayBack" machine and couldn't find the site's existance before March 2007. Whatever it is, but I was really impressed by the website.
First of all, Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport itself is getting modernized. When I looked at the picture of the airport on WikiPedia, I was shocked. They have done a real good job. Now I feel like it is an international airport. Last time when I visited the airport, it was worst than Indian Railway Stations.
They have also launched their website csia.in (Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport). The site is really informative. The most important feature of the site is "Flight status". The site has put up a small weblet on the home page which gives you real-time flight status information of domestic flights as well as international flights.
The site also provides city related information such as Weather, tourist attractions, Mumbai city information, Airport Map and much more. They have also provided a table with list of airlines associated with terminals. It gives information about the Bank ATM locations in the Airport.
Overall, I liked the website and the information it provides would be useful for travellers. Greate Job !!
