Indians are used to find their destinations by asking panwalaas and people walking on the streets but now Indians can also enjoy the driving directions just like any other western coutries. There are plenty of services available for Indians to find out driving directions in India such as Google Maps, Yahoo Maps and SatNav. But now we have another service by our own Reliance.. called BigMaps.

BigMaps is not yet available to public yet but BigMaps has launched its mobile version of the site where users can search for local businesses and find out directions for indian cities. Soon you can also search for local events using BigMaps.

You can visit BigMaps Mobile by visiting http://m.bigmaps.com. The current mobile application doesn't show maps though. BigMaps has also launched Facebook application where you can search for POI(point of interest) or locations or businesses on the BigMaps. You can check out the BigMaps facebook application here.
