A travel-search engine Sprice.com now launched its operations in India. Sprice actually brings different sources of your hotel and or flight booking sites into one resource. Instead of you checking 6 to 8 sources of information before buying your tickets, Sprice brings that to you in a nicer way.
I was really impressed by searching for a flight from Ahmedabad to Mumbai. The search was quick and gave me really nice visual display of competitive prices from different airlines. Sprice is also planning to launch mobile application as well as social networking plugins to search for the best travel deal.
Sprice compares reviews, photos and rate from sites like HotelClub, RatesToGo, TravelGuru, Hotel.info, AsiaTravel.com, Saphiresa and many other travel portals. You can find out the hotel information, hotel reviews and much more.
They have incorporated Google Maps to locate Indian hotels on the map but I found it incorrect for many hotels in Ahmedabad and Mumbai. It was not showing hotels at the correct location on the map. May be they will have to fix the lat long information for the hotels.
Sprice currently operates in France, USA, UK, Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden, Deutschland, Espana, Italia, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand.
