Sometimes I feel that people who launches these new websites wants to makes sure that they are doing anything wrong and if everyone puts B_word, they also want to put the B_word for their website even if it is required or not.
Anyways, so if we talk about Patrika.com, the site claims to emphasises on round the clock news updation, including audio and video updates, and more features than before. The interactive portal features RSS feeds, opinion sharing, shopping, travel bookings, discussion forums, SMS subscription, newsletters, and e-paper. (Who doesn't?)
The news portal also plans to go local with <city>.patrika.com. Now that is another concept getting popular in Indian news industry.(provide city specific news portal which lists all the same stories that the other so called "news portal" publishes).
Nothing against Patrika.com though. Even after the relaunch, I was surprised why they are not providing support for Firefox browser? The moment you visit Patrika.com in FireFox, it gives you javascript popup message saying that the site doesn't support your browser at the moment.
So what do you think of Patrika.com? How many news paper you read online?
