Gain No Gyan with NoGyan.com - NDTV Convergence

I was just talking to my friend about Indian news channel and I remember how AajTak and NDTV used to be when they initially started their news channel. It was pure news and no rubbish and thats how it suppose to be but now even NDTV and AajTak and any other news channels are showing crap everyday.

Salman Khan showed up at Singh Is King's music launch is a big deal. NDTV was showing up this story for almost half an hour. Why the hell I care? Look at CNN or BBC news channel, its pure news and no masala stories. But as they all say it, everybody wants to sell ABC, Astrology, Bollywood, Cricket.

NDTV Convergence now has launched its website called NoGyan.com, a website which claims to offer news, views and analysis of unusual happenings in areas such as glamour, celebrities, sports, technology, spirituality, health and automobiles.

NDTV is planning to market this site using social networks such as Orkut, Facebook and Yahoo Groups. It also plans to create NoGyan ringtones and screensavers. Believe me, you will not get any "Gyan" with NoGyan.com and probably thats why the site is called NoGyan.com.

    May be you are right about all the other channels. I guess ultimately it's upto us when to turn off the TV and do better things in life.

    I disagree with your view that the BBC and CNN are free of masala stories but I agree that NDTV and the others increasingly feature non-news also. You are referring to the international versions of the BBC and CNN, hence you see no masala, just wait till you see an American version of CNN or the other American-national news channel - they are downright worse than our channels. It is hard to judge having not seen the American version, but did you know CNN is infamous for its sleazyness? Check this pic out.. http://is.gd/KzR-
    Don't worry it's not a bad link. Overall: yes, NDTV is not as good, but it's still not very bad. As long as the real news is news, it's good.
