1800flowers.com, one of the famous online flower sending service in USA has recently started its operations in Canada. The site is 1800flowers.ca. SO now you can send flowers/gifts to your loved ones throughout Canada from Nova Scotia to the Yukon Territory.
I am surprised thought that 1800flowers is not running any specials for Canada for its new launch. It provides flowers for different occasions such as Anniversary, birthdays, wedding etc or for sentiments such as sympathy, thank you etc. I found some design issues such as browser back button messes up the CSS table when you view the flower packages.
1800flowers has provided tools for Canadian users such as currency converter. It also provides an option to send flowers from Canada to USA or to any other countries.
It looks like 1800flowers might open up its operations in UK, India and other countries pretty soon. India currently has many players providing service to send flowers but as other giants are penetrating in India, I don't see why 1800flowers would not want to come to India.
Sending flowers in India can be very cheap compared to USA/Canada. You end up paying $40 for dozen roses in USA or Canada.
