Firefox 9 is available for people interested in downloading it. Early birds who are keen to get an overview of Firefox 9 can find it available for download and check out an early development feel of the open source browser. Mozilla has already started with a nightly release of Firefox 9 which is an equivalent of a pre-Alpha Build. Earlier this week, they have launched the Firefox 6. They are in a hurry.

They have moved forward to developing not just the next version but two more versions after that. Actually, they are now working on Firefox 7, Firefox 8 and Firefox 9 simultaneously although the focus may be on Firefox 7. This Version 7 is almost on the verge of being upgraded to the Beta Channel. It is going to be just a matter of few days before people will hear about the official announcement from Mozilla of Firefox 7 Beta.

Firefox 8 is likely to move to Aurora to replace Firefox 7. They have already decided to transfer Firefox 8 Central to Aurora and Firefox 7 Aurora to Beta. Only the official release announcements are pending. Even Firefox 8 Aurora is sitting ready for wrap up and can be grabbed through the Company’s File Transfer Protocol (FTP) servers.

Speaking of Firefox 9 Nightly, you can go to Mozilla’s FTP servers. It is a nightly Build of the browser that is designed only for early adopters to run it in a test environment. The plan is to have it moved to Aurora by the end of September.
