Here is a site that does just the same. The site lets you paste in a section of your prose and analyses your vocabulary, sentence-length and punctuation.

It then compares this to a list of 40 famous writers, and comes up with the closest comparison to your style. The site is a big hit among twitter users and bloggers.

The site is called I Write Like. It already crossed 100,000 visitors in a day and becoming popular day by day. Its so much fun.
