Lufthansa launched a new website that will put your Twitter and Facebook accounts on autopilot while you're in-flight or departing from/arriving at an airport terminal, i.e. it posts updates on your behalf.
Go to www.MySkyStatus.com, pick the carrier you're flying on, select a departure date, key in your flight number/airport codes and choose whether you want to publish to your Twitter or Facebook.
Typical updates will look like "infomadness is now flying over Mumbai, India. Click here to track their progress on MySkyStatus, powered by Lufthansa."
Alternatively you can also visit www.twtri.com to update your friends on twitter and facebook about your flight location while you are flying.
