Don't take me wrong.. I personally loved BoostCam. Oh let me take a step back and explain what is BoostCam. Those of you who love instant messaging and live webcam chat might know how it is when you want to have a webcam chat. Both the person doing live webcam chat needs to be on the same client.. either its yahoo or google chat or msn messenger or skype. I remember when I talk to my sister, I have to use Yahoo Messenger for webcam and we talk over Set Up Free Voip Phone

Here comes BoostCam, an online interface that lets you instantly chat with your friend/relative without installing any special software. BoostCam provide free, instant, and disposable two-way video conferencing.

Just visit BoostCam and click on "Start Chat".. there you go, you will be given one instant disposable URL that you can send it to your friend/family.. once they visit that URL, their webcam will be connected and you and your friend/relative will be able to talk to you. It is that simple. I was looking for such service for quite sometime.

Now the fun part.. I was trying BoostCam on my PC and I opened up BoostCam in IE8. It started my webcam and gave me one disposable URL. Now I wanted to try it.. so I opened up Firefox window and opened up the same URL.. bamm!!! my computer started beeping my own voice and the webcam hung up.. and the whole computer hung up. I think BoostCam needs to fix this issue. Atleast they should detect whether the request is coming from the same IP address/computer or not.

Oh well.. but do give BoostCam a try.. you will surely love it.
