Is it just me or you too found it funny and ridiculous when you read this story title? Nope I am not kidding, Consim Info Pvt Ltd, the company behind BharatMatrimony Group is planning to launch a matrimony site for Indian millionaires.
According to Janakiraman, if the matrimony portal is exclusive for the elite(millionaires), then they would be more open about their identity and preferences instead of hiding their true status and identity and then search for a suitable boy or girl.
"A person is considered to belong to the elite club only if his or her networth is Rs.100 million (Rs.10 crore). In the case of upcoming sports persons or artists, we will base our decision depending on their potential," Janakiraman remarked.
According to the company, the four broad classifications of elite are: businessmen/industrialists, high networth individuals (professionals, people in service), civil servants and celebrities (cine actors, sports personalities, artists and others).
Here are Consim's big dreams and over ambitious plans for this website. They are hoping to enrol around 100 members per month through which the company can earn Rs.10 million (Rs.1 crore).
