MeriCar.com provies three features to its members. Car Servicing, Car Insurance and solutions to car Problems. Once you become a member with MeriCar.com, you can submit your car details and request for your car servicing. MeriCar.com will contact the service dealer and eventually service dealer will contact the customer, means you.
Similarly you can enter your car insurance records online and MeriCar.com will help users to have contact with top insurance service providers in India. You can also ask any car related problem and experts will answer it for you.
The site is in beta and has few broken links such as "Car Insurance" link from the "Ask the Expert" page. If you talk about their business model, I am not sure if it would work because why to have a middle man when you can do these things directly by yourself. For e.g. There is a huge competition in India for car dealerships and I have seen dealers contacting customers directly reminding them about their next servicing etc.
