The portal has developed by Azim Premji Foundation with support from the National Knowledge Commission. Over the next few months the portal will offer content in several languages as well as provide access to other communities such as students, parents, teacher educators etc.
Currently the portal offers contents in English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada languages. If the portal is made to communicate ideas between Indian teachers, I didn't find a link where teachers can register to the site and/or meet with other Indian teachers..
