T-mobile USA announced the launch of mobile phones compatible with Microsoft’s latest Windows Mobile 6 installed in them with better security and more advanced features. These mobile phones with windows mobile 6, are also called T-mobile wing and are equipped with 200MHz OMAP 850 processor, 64MB RAM and 128MB flash.

Windows Mobile 6 allows fast delivery of e-mails and viewing e-mails with high graphics and images. Instant messaging with more than one person can also be done with windows mobile 6. Replies to meeting requests through Microsoft Outlook via e-mail or messaging through mobile phone are other unique features. It also facilitates easy browsing for information access over Wi-Fi network to which the device can be connected. The wing can also have Bluetooth connectivity.

Currently window mobile devices offer a resolution of 320 by 240. However with new windows mobile 6 480 by 800 resolutions are made available. A T-mobile has a 2.8 inch touch screen with a sliding forty key keyboard underneath it. It has also leads to data synchronization with windows vista so as to simplify it via Bluetooth. Also from the entertainment point of view T-mobiles seems to be successful. It has an in-built media player and songs can also be uploaded due to the presence of a micro SD memory slot. Instant messaging devices like yahoo, windows live etc are also available.

The calls and voice quality are also superior to any other mobile phones with more clarity and optimum loudness. Battery backup is also superb in case of these phones. The phones are provided with a 2 megapixel camera for capturing quality pictures and enlarging or print. Apart from it T-mobile with windows mobile 6 also offers faster access to contacts and ability to view and edit MS-Office documents like Outlook, Excel, and original word. Windows mobile 6 is based on Windows embedded CE and thus offers excellent compatibility with .Net framework and SQL server.

Both Microsoft and T-mobile prepare to release this device which is expected to cost $299. The manufacturers offering this latest mobile window in their phones include Toshiba, Lenovo, and LG and Samsung electronics. Thus with some of noteworthy improvements windows mobile 6 provides with more robust tools and makes working with mobile devices easier.
