Google is doing great job providing all its services on mobile. I have been using Google mobile emails, news, maps for quite some time now. The ease of finding the information right on your fingertip is great.
Google Maps mobile launched its Google Maps Mobile My Location feature few months back and now it has comeup with Transit information for its mobile maps application.
You can get transit directions while you're out. Currently Google transit overs more than 50 cities worldwide. Right now transit directions are available on the latest Google Maps for mobile release on BlackBerry and many Java-based phones.
So I would recommend to download Google Maps Mobile. Make sure you have GPRS in your plan before using it though.
