Jaipur would soon be made a Wi-Fi city. Rajasthan's chief minister Vasundhara Raje while announcing this in her budget speech said, "We would make Jaipur a wi-fi city in phases".
After the completion of this project one could access wireless internet in any part of the city.Similarly, the chief minister has announced setting up of a biotech information centre in the city.

Institute of heritage conservation for providing training to craftsmen and young professionals to conserve the heritage would also be opened in the city. "This centre would give training to craftsmen and young professionals in conserving heritage", Raje said.
Raje said that Jaleb howk inside the walled city area of Jaipur would be developed as global art square and by 2007-08 a market would become operational here.
