vTap is a service provided by Veveo Inc that enables users to search the video or content based on the characters they type. It lets you search and play videos from YouTube and other sources with simple and easy interface.

As most web video services are desktop based, Veveo Inc has developed vTap application for the mobile users. vTap has just launched its operations in India. I will show you how you can use vTap to search and play youtube videos into your mobile. Make sure you have GPRS enabled.

You can visit m.vtap.com using your mobile device. The mobile vTap lists latest videos as well as you can search for the video you like. You can alternatively download the vTap application on your mobile devices. I have downloaded vTap on Motorola Q. Check out the screenshots from vTap on Motorola Q.

 

I am trying to search for IPL Match. Just trying to see if I can watch IPL free on line or not. People might have put IPL free online matches on youtube. So the moment you type in the characters, vTap lists the videos/content available on the web for you. Once you select the item, it will display the details and provide an option to play. 

Once you click on the play, the Veveo vTap player will play the video you have selected. I am playing Bhajji's Slap to Sreenath video. LOL. I have been using vTap on my phone for quite sometime. Its pretty slick application, doesn't eat your phone battery and its pretty easy to use.

Soon you will be able to search for TV programs using vTap on your mobile phones. MediaE2E company which runs the Indian TV Guide Sites Burrp TV has announced a strategic pact with Veveo Inc to provide TV listings and programme guide on vTap.
