FireFly e-Ventures Ltd., a subsidiary of HT Media Company recently announced the launch of its career site called Shine.com. The site is focused for the job opportunities, career advice, company and industry information and salary information tool.

I feel sorry for Shine.com as Yahoo just launched its portal called Shine dedicated to girls between the age of 25-35. The site staff is all women editors and focuses on providing tips to the women. 

Its not a place where you will find "how to please a man or how to loose some fat from your body". This is like a blog with some scoops and topics that covers parenting, career and money, home life etc. So its similar to one of those female magazines but online.

I am afraid that Shine.com might loose its traffic to shine.yahoo.com. Though both of these sites focus on different areas, Shine keyword would give higher priority to Shine.yahoo.com rather than Shine.come in search engines. Atleast thats what I found when I searched for shine.
