Sending SMS does not cost you anything now. Though its not new, I am simply compiling the list here. Most of the Indian cellular service provideers have their SMS gateways which takes email message and convert it to SMS and send it to the person you are sending that email to. I believe those who are providing free SMS services over the web, might be using this technique to send free SMSes. I might be wrong though.
