TringMe, an Indian Startup which lauched its web based calling widget few months ago and created some waves in the Indian blogsphere. TringMe allows your website visitors, friends and customers to call or leave a voicemail to you or call you directly from the web without having to remember your contact (e.g. telephone numbers) details.

 

All you have to do is - login, get the widget and put it on your website, blog, or social networking profile. It works with any website, including blogger, eBay, facebook, myspace, typepad, wordpress. No additional software is required by you or visitors and it's FREE.

 

Today, TringMe launched its next promised application, TringPhone. TringPhone is a Flash-based SIP phone which you can configure to use with any VoIP provider. With TringPhone, calling anyone around the world from the web is as simple as dialing the digits and clicking the call button. Call worldwide from any PC that has a flash enabled browser and an internet connection. 

 

 

TringMe also announced its Mobile VoIP launch which will enable your mobile phones or PDA to use their VoIP feature to make cheap/free calls worldwide. TringMe will allow one to receive calls and voicemails using the underlying cellular internet/data connection (e.g. GPRS, EDGE, HSDPA, EVDO or even Wi-Fi) for FREE.
