The beta version of the application was released in March 2007 and already there are a few thousand beta users of CellSerf around the world. Today was the public launch of CellSeft.
Here is the thing, I checked their website and all I can see is an application called "MultipleX" which is basically java based application and is compatible with the phones that support Java. According to this press release, they are saying that the service is free but when I looked at the site, they have two seperate plans where you have to pay some Rs. 49/Month and 99/Month for plan 1 and 2 respectively. SO its confusing where one side they are saying its free and on the website they have pricing plans.
I personally haven't tried the service as my phone doesn't support java, but from the release, it looks promising. CellSerf's founder Vishal Batra envisioning this application as a part of VAS2.0 where mobile value added services and content are user initiated and community driven. So if you get a chance, give it a try. Website is : CellSerf.com
