Being a programmer and working in IT field, one always finds a way to make their work faster. One of that technique is to use Keyboard shortcuts. I always use keyboard shortcuts and its easier too then using mouse clicks. But thats just my opinion.
Today I came across this website where you can basically find out the keyboard shortcuts for quite a huge number of application (online and offline). For example if you are using GMail or Google Reder, you might don't know what are the keyboard shortcuts. Ofcourse Google provides help pages where you can see the list of keyboard shortcuts but what about other applications? You might have to go to each and every application's help pages to find out the keyboard shotcuts. What if you have a site where you can find all at one place.
Yes, the site is called KeyXL.com. This site has a database for keyboard shortcuts for popular software programs, browser-based applications and operating systems. This applications are categorized on the website so that its easier to find shortcuts for a particular application. The site also provides a search functionality to find the shortcuts for any application.
If you know any shortcut which doesn't already exist in their database, you can submit it or if you want shortcuts for a particular application, you can request it via their request form. These guys have done a great job putting up something like this.
