Among the tablet buyers in the future, 65% of enthusiasts confirmed that they would purchase Apple’s iPad as per a Change Wave Research study. The Samsung Galaxy Tab line has been available for over a year and has been able to get only 4% of future votes.
As per Change Wave, Kindle Fire may be a major threat to all tablet vendors that are trying to establish their products. The launch of the Amazon Kindle Fire represents a big challenge to Apple who has, until now, almost completely dominated the tablet market. The Kindle Fire is dealing a heavy blow on the range of tablet manufacturers like Toshiba, HP, HTC, Dell, RIM and Motorola. It cannot shake Samsung and Apple yet.
Apple needs to worry about one bit of statistics. The latest findings have informed that 26% of those people who pre-ordered the Kindle Fire were earlier planning to purchase an iPad. Over 25% of those people who plan to buy Kindle Fire are of the opinion that they would rather have Amazon’s tablet than the iPad. So, the Kindle Fire may impact the iPad. Apple still holds two-thirds of the worldwide tablet market in the third quarter.
