The Samsung LND630 series exhibits very good picture quality with relatively deep black levels and accurate color in bright areas. It gives excellent video output with proper handling of 1080p/24 sources. Its matte screen works well in bright lighting and the television features numerous picture adjustment options and can stream video via USB and DLNA. The styling is classic. Shadow detail on the LND630 series is somewhat murky and its dark areas are tinged a bit blue.

The Sharp LC-70LE73U is bigger than any other mainstream flat-panel television with a strong overall value. It delivers solid picture quality with better screen uniformity than an edge-lit LED-based LCD, while its matte screen and high potential light output make its bright-room picture quality superior to that of large plasma. It comes with excellent help and support options and built-in Wi-Fi. It uses less power than plasma models. This 70-inch LED-based LCD is too large to fit in many living rooms and too expensive for most people’s budgets.
The Toshiba TL515U gives good picture quality for an edge-lit LED-based LCD with relatively deep black levels in dark scenes. Screen uniformity and very good video processing are its special features. Its matte screen works well in bright rooms. Its Internet suite includes built-in Wi-Fi. Passive 3D on this television has minimal crosstalk. The TL515U's backlight flickers more than usual causing contrast and color to vary depending on scene content.
