Android phones do not cost the moon. They can be one of the cheapest smartphones around. The leader in their distribution is the High Tech Computer Corporation of Taiwan. These Android phones go to prove that there is a difference between bargain basement and budget blowing.

Here is a list of the ten cheapest Android phones available:

1. HTC Wildfire – This has a 3.1-inch touch screen. It comes with a Twitter, Flickr and Facebook integration and a five megapixel camera.

2. HTC Wildfire S – You will get a superb handset with the latest 2.3 Gingerbread version of Android and a five megapixel camera with ace filters.

3. HTC Desire – This phone was the beginning and the end of all Android phones not so long back. This is also available at a price that beats them all. It gives you a sleek and stylish aluminium design.

4. Samsung Galaxy Ace –Every time you blink an eye, another galaxy device would have appeared. With so many Galaxies cropping up, it is the Ace that will appeal to the cost conscious Android seekers.

5. Sony Ericsson XPeria Mini – This is the smallest phone to date yet to feature high definition video recording with Android 2.3 and a clear screen that features the same Bravia technology that you find in Sony televisions.

6. Sony Ericsson XPeria Mini Pro – This is the same handset as the Mini but with a QWERTY physical keyboard with a pre-loaded Microsoft Office Suite. This is the one for heavy messagers.

7. HTC Cha Cha – This phone is focusing on Facebook users with a dedicated Facebook button that gives you quick access to the social network site and a QWERTY keyboard to tap out status updates.

8. HTC Salsa – Salsa is also available with a dedicated Facebook button. It does not have a keyboard and therefore it has room for a larger 3.4-inch screen.

9. Samsung Galaxy Mini – This is the little version of the Galaxy S. It is powered by Android 2.2. Mini has got room for three inch screen with Quick Office for document editing.

10. LG Optimus ME P350 – This is a handset with attractive round edges. It weighs at just 108 grams. It comes with a three megapixel camera and a 2.2 version of Android.
