Nokia lovers can now use their Nokia Symbian phones as a business phones. Microsoft and Nokia has partnered to bring Microsoft Apps to Nokia Symbian Phones. If you are using Nokia Symbian ^3, you can upgrade to Symbian Anna, and Symbian Belle because Nokia and Microsoft announced that they would deliver Symbian software updates called Microsoft Apps. What it means?

Microsoft Apps will bring business productivity tools for anyone buying a new Symbian Belle device and N8, E7, C7 and C6-01. Microsoft Apps for Nokia Symbian Anna will include

• Microsoft® Lync™ 2010 Mobile – for cost efficient IM, presence, audio and web meetings on-the-go.
• Microsoft® PowerPoint® Broadcast – quick broadcast of presentations directly from PC to mobile.
• Microsoft® OneNote™ – rich note taking with images. Syncs with Microsoft® SkyDrive®.
• Microsoft® Document Connection – single view to documents stored on mobile, including email attachments as well as documents on Microsoft® SharePoint® 2010 sites.

• Microsoft OneNote sync with SharePoint (in addition to SkyDrive)

• Also Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint as native applications to your Nokia Symbian Phones.

The first update will be available in Q4 of 2011 and the second update will be available in the first quarter of 2012.

Nokia confirmed that it will provide software support to all its Nokia Symbian Phones till At Least 2016.
