The unprecedented way in which the Google’s social media networking version, Google Plus has received Google has created waves. There is a new element in the success story of Google Plus. It has now ventured to cancel the account of customers who provide false personal information in the newly launched social networking of Google. As Google+ is not going to allow the users who are involved in offering misleading information as it may affect its success as a social networking service.

People who are loosing their accounts are ones that are not giving their true names but registering on the server with fake names. All such accounts are being deleted by Google. To give an example quoted by ZDNet, Limor Fried had her account removed as she has alias as Ladyada.

This pruning exercise is not limited for the use of fake names that is causing problem. If the users have two separate accounts, one for the Gmail account and another different account for Google Plus, it is going to create problems.  In an interesting development, one of the banned Google user who happens to be a ex-Google employee is making efforts to compile the names of people whose access to Google accounts is blocked. It is said that this is compiled in an effort to promote anonymous names on the social media, while Google holds that there should not be anonymity when people are communicating and sharing on social media networks.
