After unblending clash between Android & Apple market, now researchers predicted that Windows Phone 7 will too clinch Apple’s iPhone market by 2015. The news is coming from IDC sources, which made this predication few days before, According to News Agencies.

No doubt Google’s Android has already taken lead in the market of Smartphone industry, which will also enjoy 44 percent market share by the end of the decade. Google’s Android who has recently launched Honeycomb version & now heading for Ice Cream version. Android is today world’s most used OS in the Smartphone industry. It has taken leap just from the release of its Froyo version. Thanks to Nokia’s partnership with Microsoft, to become World’s largest phone maker to beat other competitors especially Apple & Samsung. Windows Phone 7 will soar ahead of Apple iPhone to enjoy a 20.3-per-cent market share, compared to the 16.9 per cent of the iPhone.

This is comparatively huge jump in the market spectrum of Windows Phone 6, which currently holds only 3.8 percent of market share. Study also found that the Microsoft operating system will enjoy a compound annual growth rate of 82.3 per cent, compared to the iPhone's annual growth of 17.9 per cent and Android's 23.7-per-cent rate.

"Windows Phone 7 will benefit from Nokia's support, scope, and breadth within markets where Nokia has previously had a strong presence," the report states. Point to be noted as "until Nokia begins introducing Windows Phone-powered Smartphones in large volumes in 2012, Windows Phone 7 will only capture a small share of the market," report concludes.

Presently Android has total 38.9 per cent of the global Smartphone market, compared to Apple's 18.2 per cent. Smartphone market will jump drastically by 2015, as per as study, which found that sales will more than triple from their 2010 levels of 305 million to 982 million in 2015. Smartphone sales in 2011 are predicted to be 472 million. If we look over the entire market size Smartphone industry is in the emerging phase. Latest Apple’s iPad 2 has also boosted growth in the market & created stiff competitions in the market.
