Out of two devices, the Nokia C2-00 runs on Series 40. It provides some additional features such as a basic internet browser, Nokia Messaging for email, and MMS support. The C2-00 is the first dual SIM, dual standby device will have feature a hot-swappable SIM slot: one SIM card will go below the battery, while the second will go in a slot on the outside, similar to the memory card slot. According to Nokia, the C2-00 can take up to 32 GB of memory through an SD card slot, and will also have a standby time of 19.2 days. This device cost is less than Rs 3000.
The X1-01 will be music-oriented. Nokia has claimed that the phone's speaker will be seriously loud, while keeping distortion at bay. The manufacturer has also asserted that the phone is capable of playing music for an impressive 36 hours on a single charge. The X1-01 will feature a 3.5 mm jack, giving you the freedom to plug in the earphone of your choice. The mobile's SD card slot will be able to handle memory up to 16 GB. Finally, a flashlight located on the top will be welcomed by users in most part of India. Unlike the Nokia C2-00, the X1-01 will run on the Series 30 operating system. The expected price for the X1-01 is around Rs 2000.
Nokia had lost their impact on the dual-SIM model in the long run of competition before. We hope that the new introduction of C2-00 and X1-01 made NOKIA feel better in the long run.
