Airtel in Karnataka has introduced two new cell phone services today, called m-Chek and One2One for the post-paid subscribers to pay their monthly bills and managing their accounts.
What this cell phone service means?
m-Chek - allows you to manage your credit or debit cards with your mobile phone and use them in a safe, smart and simple manner for over-the-counter and Internet purchases, and person-to-person payments. Airtel has partnered with m-Check so that its post-paid customers can make their Airtel bill payments from within their cellphones.
One2One - is an SMS-based facility which will enable the subscribers to manage their phone accounts, Cell phone plan and other account related information.
m-Check registration process takes about two to three minutes and the bill payment process less than a minute. The subscribers can use it as an ‘anytime-anywhere’ transaction medium for paying their bills even from outside their home town.
Again, this service is launched in Karnataka only but I am sure it would be available for other states pretty soon.
