Recently the Kerala Microsoft User Group also known as the (k-MUG) had organized a Microsoft Dream Spark Yatra in Kochi to make young and interested students who have a passion for technology aware of the global situation and give them an inside vieq of trends in software industry which are seen recently.
This was a half day event and it highlighted the technologies and software which are the latest in their league. It also had academic programmes which will take place at the Rajagiri School of Engeneering and Technology situated at Kakkanad. This was the biggest event of this type that has been organized in kerala in recent times. Almost about 1000 students from many colleges of Kerala participated in the event and the event has been a huge success.
The founder of the Kerala Microsoft User Group (K-MUG) Mr Sreejumon K P said that students in IT sector studying in Kerala are not able to avail as many facilities as their counterparts avail in other parts of the country like Bengaluru, Pune and Hyderabad so these kinds of events are very helpful for the students to bring them awareness and help them realize the current trends in the market. K-MUG is trying to bring these quality sessions free of cost to Kerala to help the students even more in these fields.
These events will only help in broadening and widening the reach of all the technical students who are studying IT/CS or other related streams by making them market friendly by exposing them to such seminars more often.
This event is already being organized in over 100 cities all over India and plans are to widen this event even more due to the way it tackles the problems of the students effectively and in a friendly manner. All students who attend these seminars also get a Certificate for participating in this event from Microsoft and a key to download authentic softwares from Microsoft’s site.
