Amazon that started selling online books and products has now gone deeper into the digital world. Right after launching the Kindle Book reader, Amazon knew that the trend is to go digital. Today Amazon announced its newest product called "Amazon Cloud Drive".
Just like Google Drive and MSN Sky Drive, Amazon's cloud drive lets you store music and other digital files on the company's servers and access them on computers, smartphones and other devices.
If you are an Amazon customer, Amazon will give customers 5GB of Cloud Drive storage for free. Currently there is no way to mount your Amazon Clude Drive to Windows 7 or Mac. Also there are no mobile application to access Amazon Cloud Drive but we know that those apps and Amazon Cloud APIs are coming very soon.. So lets keep our fingers crossed.
Amazon has also launched The Cloud Player that works on PCs, Macs and Android devices. So if you have all your music libraries uploaded to the Amazon Cloud Drive, you can access it from anywhere in the world as long as you have internet connection. Pretty neat..
Tip: -- if u buy an MP3 album through Amazon, You will be upgraded to 20GB of cloud storage for a year (After one year, you will be downgraded to 5GB storage space unless you upgrade that to 20GB with your consent).
