Lenovo India, the Computer maker has announced a new range PCs with high performance for 2011 based on the 2nd generation Intel core processors, these new personal computers are powered by Intel's 'Huron River platform', being manufactured for the first time in the country. The new PCs launched on this platform offer smoother functioning, higher performance, enhanced responsiveness and a superior visual experience to users' computing demand, as said by the company. Uncovering Lenovo’s new consumer notebooks, The Director of Consumer Business Unit, HSB Lenovo India, Rajesh Thadani, said,” Our new notebooks offer superior features such as accutype keyboards, brush finish metallic looks, HD LED backlit screen to customers in India ".

The notebooks in Z series have been enhanced with features such as sharper images, stylish full metal brush finish and Lenovo enhanced experience 2.0 for Windows 7 to provide faster start-up and shutdown times, all-day battery life, smarter power and faster application performance, he said.

The company's new all in one rang, the 520, A320 and B320 offers superior computing with the new Intel core processors and also offers features like LED screen, 3D experience and multi-touch with 1 GB graphics, he said.

The ThinkPad L420 was green with more power efficiency to keep operating recyclable and costs low while ThinkPad T420 had an all-day and all-night battery life, as said by Rajesh Dixit -Director Relational Business, with the announcement of the launch of the new notebooks.
Dixit said they were planning to make an increment in the number of Lenovo stores from current 400 to 1,000 by the coming next fiscal. They would see to tier three - four smaller towns which affirm high potential.

The price tag of all the products ranges to Rs 43,000 from as low as Rs 34,000 he said.
