The MSI WindPad 100W is going to be India’s first tablet which s powered by Microsoft Windows 7. But at the high price of Rs.34, 990 one has to wonder about its success in India.
HP’s Slate 500 tablet is also powered by Microsoft Windows 7 but it has not yet available in India. MSI‘s WindPad 100W has a 10 inch LCD display. The phone has a full touch screen and a resolution of 1024x600 pixels. The WindPad 100W uses the Wind Touch interface which was made by MSI to support the touch screen. The Tablet is powered a Intel Mobile Processor and has 2GB DDR-II internal RAM. It also has a 32GB SSD card, a USB slot, DC in, H/P out, HDMI, DC and SD card reader. It can connect to internet using wifi and has a dimension of 274x173x18.5 mm. Its weight is 800g and has a battery life of more than 6 hours. It has many exclusive apps like WindTouch, EasyFace and other facilities like Multi-Touch, Sensors, Screen Rotate etc
