Recently, Froyo based Dell Venue mobile phone was finally launched by Dell in Hong Kong. This Froyo based Dell Venue is a 4.1 inch AMOLED capable display mobile phone which is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon QSD8250 1 GHz processor and Android OS version 2.

Dell Venue possesses its own Dell’s new Stage User interface (UI) paired with Dell’s Own Shear Design Concept just like the HTC Sense UI.

 

After the launching of Dell Streak in public, Dell Venue is the second mobile phone that uses an Android OS. During the presentation of Dell Venue, the Dell management gladly announces the Dell Streak upgrade. Both new and current Dell Streak users can take advantage of the upgrade from the old OS to new Android 2.2 version together with Dell Stage UI.

 

Here are the KEY SPECS of the new Dell Venue:

 

• 1 GHz processor (Qualcomm Snapdragon QSD8250)
• 512 MB RAM with 1GB ROM and expandable memory card slot that supports up to 32GB memory
• Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g
• Bluetooth 2.3 with A2DP and EDR
• GPS with A-GPS support and a variety of Google services
• 8MP camera with autofocus, LED flash with Geo-tagging and face detection features
• 720p HD video recording with 4x Digital Zoom and devoted camera key

Dell Venue is available to different retail stores in Hong Kong for only HK$3,999. However, Dell Company hasn’t announced the exact date of availability of the phones in other regions.
