Panasonic made used of its technologies derived from the platform of VIERA Full HD 3D plasma televisions which was released in the market this year.
Among the technologies being used to develop the new model of TV are the following:
1) To have better black reproduction a native contrast ratio of 5,000,000:1 is being used
2) To achieve the full moving picture resolution of PDP’s or plasma display panel a high driving technology is utilized
3) To produce clear and crisp images a crosstalk reduction technology is necessary.
The price of the television is Rs. 3.5 crore.
The Director-marketing of Panasonic India, Manish Sharma commented: "From 152-inch LCD to 19-inch full-HD 3D plasma display, Panasonic now offers its customers the widest range to choose from. The launch is a part of the global strategy to create new viewing environments for our customers and also to create a new video industry based around 3D plasmadisplays by accelerating 3D-based innovations."
