Happy Island by Crowdstar is the first ever social title who was able to take advantage of the newest application of Bing. With the use of technology from Sibblingz, jam-packed playable title will pop out on top of the page once the user searches for games in Bing. Users are allowed to play the primary levels of the game before they will be asked to log-in to their Facebook account.
The latest upgrade on Bing is aim to let the users search for movies, music lyrics or images with ease. What Microsoft did to speed up searches brought about significant change on the results displayed from different searches that lets you dig in to deeper chunks of information before getting into the destination sites. During their Bing Search Summit held earlier this week, Microsoft mentioned that there are up to more than 400 specialty “visual search experiences”
As of the moment Microsoft have not issued a statement if additional social titles from other game developers will have the same high level of search treatment from the company which has been introduced as part of the company’s platform update started earlier this year. Looking into Microsoft and Crowdstar developer’s relationship and their joined efforts to commence Microsoft Game Hub, it is safe to say that other social titles are on their way to reality.
Latest update was released indicating that playing games through Bing was part of platform update last June. The launching of Happy Island is the first social gaming title that has this kind of feature.
