Earlier, Airtel, Vodafone, and TATA DOCOMO had already announced their plan for 3G services in India. Reliance has also plans to rollout its 3G services to other cities in the next couple of months.
Reliance 3G will offer superior quality video conferencing, enhanced mobile internet experience, and great social and gaming experience. However, it seems video calls won’t be available on the Reliance 3G network for some time until they acquire the security clearance. And with the recent deal with Universal Music Group mobile subscribers will be able to enjoy music services on Reliance network; both 3G and 2G networks. A new Reliance App Store is also in the cards with apps targeted for 3G subscribers.
Reliance Communications currently has license to operate 3G services on Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Punjab, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, West Bengal, Himachal Pradesh, Bihar, North East, Jammu & Kashmir, Orissa and Assam telecom circles. Reliance 3G will definitely be something to watch out for with its promises on delivering rich mobile services loaded with a host of applications.
