She is smart, she is intelligent and guess what's her name? Laila. Its funny and I am not joking. A new intelligent search engine has been launched in its Beta phase for Bangalore, AskLaila.com.
The company is founded by Kiran Konduri and Shriram Adukoorie. The goal behind this search engine was to provide information which is hard to find elsewhere. For example, if you are looking for a plumber in your city, how would you find out? Search engines like Google, Yahoo or MSN doesn't give you the specific results for your local city. AskLaila.com on the other hand gives you the list of plumbers with their contact numbers as well as working hours and detail address.
They are using advanced algorithms that gives all available information and contextualises each word or a set of words to search a specific information to give you accurate local listings.
Users can get list of articles, reviews and comments on the topic or the store with ratings. Users can register them selves and provide their own reviews for a specific business/shop/store. If you find something which is not correct, you can send your feedback/comment to make a correction.
The site is still in Beta phase and is currently functional only for Bangalore city. They have plans for expanding it to 22 more cities. (Business Standard)
