What do you do when you have to followup on something important from your client or your friend? I normally have Calendar events created into Google/Yahoo and have those events send me email reminders.

But that's just a reminder. Lets say you are collecting money for some event and want every participant to pay money by the deadline, what would you do? You keep sending an email to everyone until you have collected money. Here is a cool handy email service that does the followup emails for you.

FollowupThen.com is a new free and efficient email reminder service that can work with any email clients available in the market. Also, it works for users that are not using the same email client as you are. The service is also easy to use.

Just compose an email and include [schedule format]@followupthen.com in the "Cc", "Bcc" or "To" fields of your email. When you schedule this the first time, you will get an email requiring you to confirm your email address. Once the email address is confirmed, your scheduled reminders will resume.

You can also cancle your scheduled reminders anytime by sending an email to "pending@followupthen.com". Some of the supported scheduling formats are
