Dual SIM Mobiles EX115 and EX128 From Motorola

New dual SIM phones from Motorola, the EX115 and EX128 just will available this October.

Both handsets are unannounced, and they’re the first dual SIM Motorola devices to be available in Europe. The release dates and prices of both dual SIM feature phones are available.

Those are expected to start shipping next month and should cost around 100 euro. The Motorola EX128 is a touchscreen handset that will cost about €120 ($150).

The Motorola EX115 has a regular display and a full QWERTY keyboard, and should cost only about €95 ($120).


The Motorola EX115 will come with a full QWERTY keyboard, while the Motorola EX128 will pack a touch sensitive display (its size and resolution are still a mystery) and both will be able to accommodate two SIM cards at the same time.

Strangely, Motorola EX128 features some sort of a touchscreen UI - so far Motorola hasn't presented any feature phone operated by touch so the EX128 novelty factor may extend beyond its Dual SIM capabilities. 
The two upcoming devices have been spotted on the website of Germanos Romania, a European cellphone retailer, and according to it, they should become available on 18 October. The EX115 is expected to cost less than 95 euro, while the EX128 will be priced at less than 120 euro.

Already Nokia has announced the dual SIM phones and Samsung already a player in this market with launched more than 10 models. Now Motorola entering the dual SIM phone market, will have some serious competition. Now we hope to see a war in dual SIM phone market.

    ek baat dimag me baitha lo motorola company ka mobile kbhi nhi kharidna dost...sabse bakwaas company hai motorola...chinese mobile bech rhi hai company..hume bewakuf bana rahi hai..1 mahine pahle hi maine motorola ex128 kharida..pura chinese function hai...touchscreen hai 5000rupees ka set hai par laptop ya desktop se net connect nhi hota...aap nokia ka 2000 ka mobile lijiye aur bindaas internet kijiye laptop k saath...aur is baar headset v acha nhi hai...the most worst company motorola...jo mere sath hua hai mai nhi chahta kisi aur k sath ho...all the best n think b4 u invest!!!

    guys, u may use nokia 5130 data cable to connect motorola ex115 with PC/laptop. its realy work. you can charge your mobile and data transfer..........................
    ..... but not for internet use (it may be possible but i have no idea for this) becoz without PC suit it is quite difficult

    Hi all,
    I have been using MOTOROLA EX115 for several months. I had same question like all here. But now I'm able to connect it to PC. And PC to net with my GPRS connection.
    There are two ways of connecting phone with PC.
    1 get a cable and connect it (cable was not supplied with the product i had to buy it separately from the market. that i feel was very conservative approach of Motorola)

    2 the another way to connect your phone is through Blue tooth. Switch on blue tooth on your phone and PC/Laptop. and you will get all the access to phone.

    Well, simple thumb-rule is any phone is a modem. Modem is nothing but a dialer. If you are able to connect a call from your mobile, you can connect to net as well. Provided the connection ports are given i the device. Your Motorola EX115 has USB as well as blue-tooth connection. Use blue-tooth for NET connectivity.

    To do this go to settings in your phone
    select phone settings
    open UART settings (UART is abbrevation for Universal Asynchronous Receiver/Transmitter). select the sim on which your GPRS is available.
    You are almost done...
    now open blue tooth set up on your PC/Laptop and set up desired modem settings, especially comport (in-out) should be on (these settings may vary from operating systems but not at all difficult to do it yourself).
    After you set up blue-tooth in Phone and Comp, connect it from 'internet access' icon of windows. Press CONNECT and start surfing/uploading/downloading.

    These settings can be done for any blue tooth phone. Usually Duel sim phone providers do not guide people properly about the basics of the phone to their buyers so they face these troubles.

    Motorola Ex 115 is really a nice phone for 2G use. Only problem is the manufacturer's conservative behavior for their own really good device. They have taken users for granted for these two models.

    But now you have solution... so enjoy!
