Now it’s possible! If you are unable to watch your favorite team’s game because your wife is watching to a boring TV show or if you simply want to catch the TV news while you are going to work, now you can.

All you need is a Nokia N8 or another Symbian3 mobile phone and the new Nokia Mobile TV Headset, of course. This new headset, powered by Symbian^3, can be also used as a regular headset, while you are watching you favorite TV channels. Awesome!

 

You are probably wondering how this can be possible. Well, the DVB-H (Digital Video Broadcasting – Handheld TV tuner) makes it! Actually, you don’t need any data connection to be able to watch your favorite TV channels using your mobile phone. But, because there always have to be a ‘but’, the DVB-H coverage is still expanding so you will have to wait a couple of weeks to be able to use this feature.

According to Nokia, it seems that this feature already can be used in a few countries like Russia, India, Netherlands, Finland and they urge us to be careful before we buy, because of their lack of frequency availability and licensing issues.

This new Nokia Mobile TV Headset is expecting to be ready to use in the last 2010’s quarter and the price will be about €40 before taxes.
