Sony Unveils A840 Slim Walkman

Sony has introduced a new walkman series in the markets. This A series Walkman sports an OLED screen and super slim form factor. Apart from the stunning 2.8 inch OLED screen, the A 840 walkman also features built-in S Master digital amplifier technology and Digital Noise Cancelling technology. Sony India makes the A 840 series walkman available in a wide color range with its 2 versions, 8 GB and 16 GB.

 

The OLED display screen of Sony A 640 walkman supports 400 X 240 WQVGA resolution and a high contrast ratio. The headphones consist of highly sensitive microphones along with a built in Digital Noise Cancellation feature. With only a 7.2 mm shell, this walkman can play music for up to 31 hours and video up to 9 hours. Preparing a playlist on this walkman is easy, you just have to drag and drop the chosen files in the desktop content transfer software. Another best feature of this walkman is the FM radio tuner so that radio listeners can turn on their favorite radio programs at any time.

Sony India has priced the 8 GB version at Rs 8,990 and the 16 GB version at Rs 11,990. The 8 GB model is available in Black, Bronze and White color options while the 16 GB model is available only in the Black color range.
