If you loved the idea of running Android OS on your iPhone then we have an update for you. you can now install Android on your iPhone 2G and iPhone 3G faster and easier than ever before. There is a new version of iPhoDroid (0.6) released which works perfectly with out any issues.

iPhodroid is an open source utility developed by Sergiomcfly to automate installation of Android on iPhone 3G & 2G. iPhodroid basically transfers all required files to your iDevice, and keeps the device safe. Another advantage of iPhodroid is, it makes requirement of Linux VM obsolete.

Follow the instructions below to install Android on iPhone 2G/3G

* Jailbreak iPhone via Snowbreeze (Windows) and Jailbreak Iphone via PwnageTool (mac) for firmware iOS4. If you are on any other firmware you can always google it to search the tutorial.

* Download iPhoDroid version 0.6,MacFuse and install them on your Mac.

* Make sure your iPhone is connected to the same network as your computer. Please find the iPhone IP using the method below:

Go to Settings -> Wi-Fi -> Click on the Wi-Fi network (on the blue arrow next to it) -> You can see the IP below

* Check whether you have installed OpenSSH.

* Run iPhoDroid and simply follow the onscreen instructions, install iBoot when you are asked to do.

When iPhoneDroid has completed its installation, you will see the OpeniBoot menu on your device. From there, you may click on iDroid and then press Home to launch Android!
