Nokia 5250
Nokia had announced earlier that it will be bringing a lot of touch screen Smartphones costing less than 10,000 in India. It seems Nokia 5250 will be the first of them. Spotted on a British blog, Tams60 in online promotions add. Earlier, 5250 was also spotted on the official Nokia site but it was soon removed fuelling speculations about its launch.

The leaked specifications suggest that the device may be powered by Symbian S60 platform, similar to Nokia 5230. In addition, the design of the phone resembles Sony Ericsson Xperia X8 with its tweaked design, which is absent in other touchscreen phones by Nokia.

The Nokia 5250 model also has the same button configuration as like Nokia 5230. For the jumbo bezel, we’re reckoning on a rather small display screen, which points to the low end of the touchscreen spectrum, where a perfect 5230 successor would belong. The Nokia 5250 model is going to replace the previous model of Nokia 5230.

The touchscreen phone may not offer 3G support, besides lacking GPS receiver. The screen size seems to be smaller than the Nokia 5230.

Reportedly, the other technical specifications include 360×640 color display, SMS / MMS / EMail, Bluetooth 2.0, stereo audio, GSM/EDGE/GPRS and 2 softkeys.

As the device was caught listed on Nokia's Ovi Store, we may expect the launch of Nokia 5250 very soon.
