With this Questions service, anybody could post Questions in a community and the members of the Community will post their Answers for those Questions. Facebook has recently crossed the 500 million members mark, last week.
Users will be clicking on the “Ask Question” button present in a User’s profile and post the question, which will then appear to all of those User’s Communities and friends. If you want you can post your question with a picture related to it. You can also take polling for the question that you posted. You can classify the questions based on the topic tags and so people who have subscribed to their topic of interest can post answers for those questions on that topic.
So, it is surely going to collide head to head with the Yahoo Answer service. Now, it all depends on the Facebook’s 500 million members to help Facebook to beat the Yahoo Answer service.
