Recently Pocket-Lint sat down with the Greg Sullivan, the product manager of Microsoft in order to query him over the search capabilities of Windows Phone 7. The users thought that they can change the default search engine by customizing the settings but it doesn’t seem to be case.
According to Greg Sullivan, product manager of Microsoft, Windows Phone 7 will be having the Microsoft’s Bing as the only search engine justifying the decision by saying that the developers have incorporated search engine deep into the mobile OS. Owing to this deep integration it will be tricky to provide an alternate without messing up anything.
Let us all hope that Microsoft doesn’t get any criticism for this.
