There was an indication about this in the Adobe Max discussion program to be held on October, as the title itself was “Flash Player 3D Future”.
Thibault Imbert is the Adobe’s Product Manager had posted in his blog that Adobe will be releasing a “3D API” in its “Upcoming Version”. He didn’t reveal any more information about it. But, this is enough for us to understand what is to come.
The post stated that, “If you love augmented reality, gaming or any other interactive things like sites. You should not miss the Flash Player 3D future conference that is to be held on October 27 at 11:00 AM in room number 503, this year. The Flash Player engineer, Sebastian Marketsmueller will takes us through to the future version of the Adobe browser plug-in containing the 3D API.
All would be wondering about what does this mean, what improvement that it is going to become? What type of API? What are advantages of it? Is it an update or even better? The only thing that I can say for now is that, it is going to be far better.
More information on when this API will be available will be revealed on the conference and there is more to be done in order for Adobe to acquire this 3D API.
